After graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Rich attended the University of Texas Dental School. He graduated with honors in 1983 and began practicing in Sugar Land.
Dr. Rich has always believed that continuing education is very important and became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1991. In July, 2008, he received the Masters Award in the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning this degree required over 3000 hours of continuing education and is one of the most prestigious symbols awarded in dentistry today.
Dr. Rich is an alumni of the L. D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education; completing Continuum I - V. He is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society, American Dental Society, Texas Dental Society and Greater Houston Dental Society. He was published "Top Dentist in Texas" by Texas Monthly Magazine.
Dr. Rich likes to be on the cutting edge of new technology and has advanced training in CEREC (chairside computerized, same day porcelain crowns) and has provided this service to his patients for over two years. He is highly trained in Porcelain Veneers by LUMINEER. His office is equipped with the most current digital xray and intraoral imaging equipment as well as the ZOOM Whitening System.
Dr. Rich and his wife Tracy live in Sugar Land. He has three children, Callie, Griffin and Cody. Dr. Rich enjoys golf, flying, boating, physical fitness and youth sports activities. He has been a member of Sugar Land Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and Clements H.S. Interact Organization for many years. .
